For Today...April 14, 2010...
Outside my window... Clear blue skies, light breeze, morning sunshine, birds chirping, flowers blooming...a lovely spring day begins...
I am thinking... about my Bible Study today, do I have everything prepared for my young friend to come over...
I am thankful for... the comfort that Christ brings to my heart, no matter what storms blow around us, we always have Him...
I am wearing... my jammies...better get changed before Bible Study! :) YES...I'm gonna shower and get prepared, lol
I am remembering... the fun day I had with my best girlfriend and her daughter the other day...
I am going...to be planning a trip to see my son before he leaves for Afghanistan...*sigh*...
I am currently reading... A Promise For Spring...just started it, so have no opinion of it yet...
I am hoping... that summer comes in gently so my veggie garden doesn't burn up!
On my mind... my son...his life...
Noticing that... I need to start taking fitness WAY more seriously!
Pondering these words... "She looks well to to the ways of her household, And does not eat the bread of idleness." Proverbs 31:27
From the kitchen... lunch; salad with grilled raspberry balsamic chicken (leftover from last night)...dinner tonight; Minestrone Soup with homemade wheat bread. This week (in no particular order); spaghetti with meatballs, homemade pizza, salad and potatoes, baked tilapia or grilled salmon. Probably two more loaves of bread will be baked this week, and some brownies to send to my Dad.
Around the house...General spring cleaning, ceiling fans, under beds, top of cabinets, switching out clothing from closets, most of the big stuff has already been done.
One of my favorite things ...doing my little "waving dance" in the morning for my husband...I wave from the doorway as he drives off and do a little something "different" each day, we are a bit silly around here, :)
A picture thought to share... from my garden...butterfly weed...
Beautiful thoughts my friend. Just like you!
