This is my favorite Month!

"There is an appointed time for everything.  And there is a time for every season under heaven --"
Ecclesiastes 3:1

There are still 20 days until Spring...but I feel it already.  I have always been a "Spring Girl"....and I love the month of March.  I don't know if it's because that's my birth month, or if it's just the thought of Spring!

Everything about this time of year just makes me smile....birds nesting, hovering over eggs, waiting for little babies to be born.  Singing songs of happiness at life and warmth and sunshine and blue skies...

The smell of gently warmed soil, and the way it feels crumbling through my fingers...

They way it opens to reveal the freshness of sweet new life...

Plain dead looking bark that gives way to tender green leaves...

It's just a taste of what is to come in only a short time...

Plants forming buds, filling with life...

Waiting for the day that they will throw their arms open and be tickled by butterfly toes...

The ugliness of a "stick in the garden"...

That will awe in a month or two with their fragrant and beautiful blooms...

Oh the joy of spring and all that she brings...buds on trees, just waiting to open up, even when the dead leaves refuse to fall...

I just love it all!  Today the sun is shining...yes, it's chilly outside, but the sun is warm and inviting, the sky is blue and clear....it makes my heart smile.

"A time to plant and a time to uproot what is planted."
Ecclesiastes 3:2b

Have a beautiful day,

She started this blog to document the birth of her youngest child (who may have been stillborn). I don't recall. But she has such a lovely blog. I know you will enjoy it!

  4. I love frangipanis - I used to grow them when we lived in the tropics - sadly my current climate is too cold. They have the most beautiful scent.
