I absolutely adore my husband just for who he is. However, I do get these fantastic extra added bonuses as well, hee hee. As a young boy, my hubby became fascinated with taking things apart and putting them back together again. This began with small objects and then, as he got older it turned into motorcycles, jet-skis, and cars. Though he has no certificate to prove it, the man is the best mechanic I know - he can fix, build and/or rebuild any vehicle... :)
Before we met...The Hot Rod (oh, the car is pretty nice too, hee hee)
When we were dating, he fixed my car in my apartment parking lot...the way to a girls heart is through her engine, lol
If it needs fixin' it doesn't matter where we are, he can do it! :)
The dirt bike was stolen, miraculously retrieved (that's another story), re-built and then sold... :)
The not-running camper we bought for REAL cheap - totally rebuilt it inside and out and it purred like a kitten! Took it halfway across the country and later sold it to a woman who drove it completely across the country (Fl to CA).
There have been many more, but I guess we didn't take photos, because I couldn't find them, lol. I am a blessed woman indeed! :) I love this man.

Have a blessed day,
And next weeks theme will be computer wiz lol. We take advantage of that "rocks" feature lol. Yes you have a wonderful husband my friend.
ReplyDeletewhat a handy guy :) Thanks for stopping by. Do I love the things I hated before? Not so much. Do I tolerate them and do them because they need done....... occasionally ;)
ReplyDeleteThat's too awesome that he do all that! My hubby can help fix when his buddy is doing it. He's learning though!
ReplyDeleteYay for Rockin' Hubby's!
wow! what a fantastic blessing! :) thanks for your sweet comment!
ReplyDeleteThat's an awesome trait to have! Does he want to come take a look at my husbands truck? LOL We've had it in the shop for over a year. The guys put it on the back burner since my husband got a new truck. But I'm still paying insurance on it and I want it fixed NOW. LOL!!! Sorry, went off on a rant in your comments. :/
ReplyDeleteThat is wonderful! It's so nice to have handy husbands. My hubby likes to fix the cars himself, but he just doesn't always have enough time to do it anymore.
ReplyDeleteWow...that is great he can fix all those things!
ReplyDeleteIs your son picking up this gift?
Enjoyed your posting...Have a great weekend!!
I love the photo of your husband standing in the front end! That's awesome! My husband too is a self taught handy man, and he has decided to make the car thing official so we are moving to Arizona so he can go to UTI, become an official car mechanic and get his certifications for Porsche. If you're husband isn't thrilled with his job, hey may want to check it out!
ReplyDeleteHi Kathy,
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by. We are both blessed with our husbands. Mine loves cars and when he was younger (even now) used to rebuild them.
Hi is a cutie too!
hugs,
Barb
Yeah, I can't imagine being married to someone who can't fix anything! It wouldn't be worth it! By the way, thanks so much for stopping by my blog! It sounds like you love blog carnivals just as much as I do, so I just wanted to let you know that I’m starting one of my own on Monday, August 18th, – with prize attached! Thought you might want to check it out. Hope to see you again soon!
ReplyDeleteYou do have a rockin hubby! Having a mechanic is a really big blessing.
