I'm joining in with my friend Alicia, and participating in her Meme Friday Flashbacks - a chance to show off photos taken before the digital age...
This week I decided to dig out an old High School Class photo. Funny thing is, I have the STRAIGHTEST hair ever. I use to use hot rollers and a ton of spray to get this "look", lol...the photos must have been taken early in the day because I doubt the curl would have lasted long. I'm guessing this was around 10th grade...

Oh Kathy your curls are adorable! I rocked the same 'do too. I didn't have electric rollers back then so I set my straight hair the night before and slept in the curlers.
ReplyDeleteThen I stuck the curls up in a knit cap (good ole Washington weather) and walked to school.
Then I joined 50 million girls in the bathroom as we all hairsprayed our hair and choked on the air, lol!
Aren't you something! LOL I made the mistake of getting a PERM in high school and the curl would never leave!!!!

I did the rollers thing too! My curls fell out also,but day after day I would keep on rolling :) The things we did in high school. Fun photo choice.

ReplyDeleteI love this picture of you! I have got to find a picture of me...I have curly hair but would have to straighten it and then put the kind of curl I wanted in it by curling it with hot rollers and it would look just like this! lol

Oh, I love the curls. I had the exact same problem. I would curl the heck out of it with hot rollers and literally watch the curl fall out. Yours looks awesome!
